hi friend!
Somehow, I picked up a camera years ago and turned something I loved into a life I could have only dreamed of. What started as a creative outlet has grown into getting to document some of the sweetest, happiest, most meaningful days of people’s lives, and I still can’t believe I get to call this my job.
For me, photography has always been about so much more than creating beautiful images. It’s about people. It’s about getting to know you well enough to notice the little things, the way you naturally reach for each other, the people you love most, the moments you don’t even realize are happening. I want to capture the perfectly planned details and everything wonderfully unplanned in between.
My approach is what I like to call playfully romantic, photographs that feel elevated and beautiful, but never stiff or overly serious. The kind filled with movement, belly laughs, teary eyes, blurry dancing, quiet glances, and all the little moments that make your story yours.
I pour so much of my heart into every wedding I photograph, from the first time your name lands in my inbox to the moment your finished gallery is in your hands. I want you to feel cared for, celebrated, and completely yourself through every part of the experience.
This little business has taken me places I never expected, introduced me to some truly incredible people, and given me the absolute privilege of preserving memories that will outlive the day they happened.
I don’t take that privilege lightly, and I hope I never do.
xoxo,
maegan
more about me
My friends call me Maegs! I’m originally from Oregon, but these days I call Oklahoma City home with my husband, who I met in college and still consider my very best friend. I’ve been behind the camera for years now, and somewhere along the way, a creative outlet turned into the career I once could have only dreamed of. Now I get to spend my days celebrating people, traveling to beautiful places, documenting love stories, and creating something that will matter for generations, and I genuinely can’t imagine doing anything else.
I’ve traveled to 14 countries and 35 states, and I’ll pretty much always say yes to adding another stamp to my passport. I’m a 9w1 through and through, my love language is gift giving, and if I see something that reminds me of you, there’s a very good chance it’s coming home with me. I’m sentimental about the little things, love making people feel celebrated, and firmly believe there’s always something worth romanticizing in the everyday.
Above everything, I live my life by faith. Jesus is at the center of who I am, how I love people, and the way I approach this life and business. I’ve learned to trust where God leads me, even when I can’t see the whole picture yet, because so much of my life has turned out differently, and even more beautifully, than anything I could have planned for myself.
